Summary:
When: October 11-19, 2011
How: Direct flight by Delta JFK-Prague(8hrs) and Prague-JFK(9hrs) - $787 round trip. Where: We lived in Boris apartment in Liberec, CZ which is located in 100 km from Prague. Under Boris guidance we explore Liberec and suburbans including nearest mineral water resort Lázne Libverda. From Liberec we visited Prague several times by bus, Dresden, GE (one day) by train, and Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad) by bus for one day.

Named after the Emperor Charles IV in 19th century the Charles Bridge is Prague's most familiar monument.
Designed by Petr Parler, it was completed in 1400 and it connects the Lesser Town with the Old Town.
Although it is now pedestrianised, it withstood wheeled traffic for 600 years.
